On the morning of Tuesday, July 11, Mesa County Republicans were joined by several Western Slope State Representatives including Marc Catlin (D-58), Yeulin Willett (D-54) and Dan Thurlow (D-55). Polly Lawrence from District 39 also joined us. After crowding an overflow audience into our meeting room at the Starvin Arvin’s in Clifton, Representative Lawrence announced her 2018 bid for State Treasurer. She shared her plan for getting Colorado’s fiscal house in order, and also took questions about some of the state’s biggest budgetary challenges including Medicaid, PERA, transportation and other important issues.
The Mesa County GOP extends a big thank you to the Clifton Starvin’ Arvin’s, which never disappoints with their over-the-top cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy!
