In compliance with Article VII, Section B of the Bylaws of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee (CRC), notice is hereby given that the pre-assembly/pre-convention meeting of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee shall be held beginning at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Grand Mesa Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center located at 7800 Tufts Avenue, Denver, CO 80237.
Check‐in and registration for the State Central Committee meeting shall begin at 6:30 a.m.
The principal purposes of this meeting will be:
• To present certain officer and committee reports, to distribute materials in connection with political party assemblies
• To conduct any and all other such business as may be proposed by the Chairman or may otherwise properly come before the Colorado Republican State Central Committee.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section D of the Bylaws of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee and Colorado Revised Statutes § 1-4-102 and § 1-4-601, and unless otherwise specified in the Call and Meeting Notice approved by the officers of the respective Republican District Central Committee of the Congressional District, State Senatorial District or State Representative District, notice is hereby given that the Multi-County District Assemblies shall be convened beginning at such time and in such meeting rooms as specified by the State Chairman of the Colorado Republican Party on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Summit Grand Ballroom at the Grand Mesa Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center located at 7800 Tufts Avenue, Denver, CO 80237. Check-in and credentialing for the multi-county district assemblies shall begin no earlier than 8:00 A.M.
Unless otherwise specified in the delegate apportionment plan approved by the officers of the respective Republican District Central Committee of the Congressional District, State Senatorial District or State Representative District in accordance with law and the applicable rules of the Republican Party, the number of delegates and alternate delegates allowed to each county entitled to representation in each multi-county district assembly shall be allocated to each county in a manner proportional to the number of delegates and alternate delegates allocated to that county for the 2018 Colorado Republican State Assembly and Convention.
The membership and proceedings of each District Assembly shall be governed by the Rules and Bylaws of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee, by the bylaws of the corresponding Republican District Central Committee, and by applicable provisions of Colorado law.
The principal purposes of each District Assembly shall be:
• To designate a Republican candidate or candidates for Member of the United States House of Representatives, for Regent of the University of Colorado, for Member of the State Board of Education, for the Colorado State Senate and/or for the Colorado State House corresponding to such district for nomination on the 2016 Republican Primary Election ballot;
• To consider and adopt such other rules and resolutions and conduct all other business of the Republican Party that may properly and lawfully come before such an assembly of district assembly delegates.
