    To Whom It May Concern,
I got my voting ballot yesterday. The candidates names do not have a party affiliation next to them. I found out who was Democrat and who was Republican by calling the phone number given on the secrecy sleeve with voter instructions. I don’t know who I talked to, but she was a nice lady. She told me that many people were calling about this. Anyway, she told me Phillip Pea is the Republican candidate for District B and Dennis Simpson is the Republican candidate for City Council at-large. Anna Stout is the only candidate on the ballot for District C. I was told that she is “unaffiliated.” It is allowed to enter a write-in candidate. Do you know someone I can write in for District C?
I think you should post the names of the Republican candidates on this web site as a way to inform people who want to vote for the Republicans. I just wanted to make sure you are aware of this. Thank you for your service.

    1. John,
We will be posting that on Friday afternoon after we have the city council candidates speak during our luncheon. We can confirm Dennis Simpson as supporting, and oppose supporting Aaron Michelson.

      Thank you for your outreach!

Why do you show April 9, 2019 as the GJ City Council Election??? Shouldn’t it be April 2??
